Oracle Projects Review & Recommendation Health Check

The Projects Assessment will provide the client with some suggestions on how to improve or fix their existing issues. In addition, we will provide recommendations on avoiding long term issues, improving business processes, improving efficiency, and leveraging unused functionality for quick win solutions.
This Assessment will include:

• A review of the company’s business process flow at a high level such as the Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting and Revenue Recognition processes
• A review of the customer’s pain points and bottleneck issues.
• An analysis of high level gap/fit of business process flow and transaction types.
• A review of current Capital Projects processes, including:
  • Capital Projects including CIP/Expense transactions (validation)
  • Un-Assigned Capital CIP Cost Line(s) in Projects
  • Asset Transfer Issues
  • Project Management Reporting Tab Issues
  • Analysis of Asset Assignment
  • Oracle Asset Tracking module integration issues
• A review of current Contract Project processes, including:
  • Validation of Billable Status of Transactions
  • Check Transaction Exceptions related to Standard T&M billing
  • Check Project setup related to Contract Projects (standard Oracle)
  • Check Transaction Eligibility and Non-Billable Transactions
  • Check Project Reporting Tab for Billing /Revenue information issues
  • Check Standard Intercompany Billing setup issues
• A review of current Project Costing processes, including:
  • Demonstration of Allocations /Allocation functionality use
  • Checking Costing issues (transaction exceptions)
  • Study of Project Transactions changes needed by Customer
  • Demonstration of ‘how to’ debug AutoAccounting errors
  • Demonstration of Projects Cost Transfer
• A review of current Project Management processes, including:
  • Project Reporting Process issues check
  • Reporting Tab issues check
  • Demonstration of Project Management features such as Issue, Change Order, Status Report, and Resource Breakdown structure
  • Demonstration of User Defined Attributes
  • Demonstration of HTML page personalization – focus on Reporting Tabs
• A review of current Project Manufacturing processes, including:
  • Project Manufacturing Cost Collection / Interface process verification
  • Project Exception Analysis
  • Project Reporting Tab validation
  • Demonstration of Miscellaneous issue to Projects from Inventory
  • Facilitate a conversation about your current version of EBS Projects and help identify opportunities to leverage functional enhancements available in subsequent versions, including 12.2.
